In Patrick Henrys speech to the Virginia Convention he use Aristotles rhetorical devices to persuade the members of the Virginia Convention to take up arms against Great Britain. In the Beginning of the Speech to the Virginia Convention, Patrick Henry used Ethos in his speech to show consider and persuade his audience. For example, he said, Mr. prexy: No homo thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who give way just communicate the House.
